Looking for a place to adventure to during your trip at Caribe Royale Orlando? A place where your tastebuds can run wild? Just a few minutes down World Drive you’ll find EPCOT, the epicenter of cultures, food, and activities that anyone can enjoy! If you’re a foodie like me, you’re probably wondering what the best bites and drinks are at EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
Let’s go through my Top 10 picks from this festival (so far):
1. Pickle Milkshake at Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey
The Pickle Milkshake is one of the festival’s newest additions to the menu lineup. Although the green concoction may look questionable, it actually was one of my favorites of the festival!
2. Mimosa Flight
The Mimosa Flight from Shimmering Sips has always been a top choice of mine at the festival. This year, the flight features mixed berry, blood orange and tropical mimosa flavors. Berry was a new addition this year and was by far my favorite of the flight!
3. Guinness Baileys Coffee Shake
I cannot go to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival without stopping by the United Kingdom for a Guinness and Baileys Shake. The crushed chocolate pieces at the top and souvenir glass make this menu item almost irresistible.
4. Pão de Queijo
While some call it “cheesy bread,” the Pão de Queijo is a must for the festival. Located in Brazil, the cheesy goodness inside of the bread is the most perfect savory treat for an Epcot day.
5. Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream
If you're not stopping at the Belgium booth, you’re seriously missing out! The Berry Belgian Waffle is not only beautiful to look at, but totally mouthwatering.
6. Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey
When going to the festival, you need to try something new! At the Greece booth, the Griddled Cheese is topped with honey and pistachio - which is the perfect combination between sweet and savory.
7. Teriyaki Chicken Bun
In Japan, the Teriyaki Chicken Bun is to die for. Filled with teriyaki sauce, vegetables and chicken, this menu item is not one you want to miss!
8. Beer Flight
There’s nothing more refreshing than a beer flight on a hot Epcot day! The Flavors of America booth is the perfect place to grab a refreshing flight that includes a lager, an IPA and an amber ale.
9. Focaccia Ripiena
The Italy booth always has some of the most iconic menu items of the festival. This year, they have an incredible Focaccia Ripiena which is incredibly tasty with meatballs, tomato sauce, and burrata cheese!
10. Curry-Spiced Crispy Cheese with Mango-Curry Ketchup
Last but not least, the India booth switched it up this year with Curry-Spiced Crispy Cheese with Mango-Curry Ketchup. The dipping sauce is packed with flavor and is the perfect pairing with the crispy cheese!
The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will continue through November 18th.
Don’t Forget!
- Study the menus in advance and make a game plan to grab these must-try-dishes
- Make sure you have valid park reservations for your desired date of visit, unless you are visiting after 2 p.m.
- Take advantage of Caribe Royale Orlando’s shuttle to EPCOT which is included in your stay
- Take a look at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series schedule – what better than music, food, and a beverage to close out the night
- Grab Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak: Embark on a Ratatouille-inspired adventure that’s très magnifique! Kids of all ages can search for Remy on a savory scavenger hunt around the festival
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit: Return to celebrate the Halloween season with this very special pumpkin hunt from September 29 to October 31, 2023 (or while supplies last)
Have a delicious time!
